Introduction

Hello! Welcome to the Pioneer Valley History Network blog.


Our mission is to promote and provide effective communication and collaboration among the historical societies, sites, and museums of the Pioneer Valley and to foster a public appreciation for, and awareness of, such repositories of history.


This is a site where we can share our stories, ask questions and talk about exhibits currently going on in the Valley.

    This is great to see! We've been working with local schools to create history web sites. More than 30 sites are already up. (See EmergingAmerica.org click on Windows on History.)
    I hope teachers and students use this blog to post their research, questions, and ideas.
